Delight Murigo has been involved in Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights work for the past six years both as a student volunteer as well as a Programmer. His work experience has predominantly focused on the implementation of interventions contributing to the realisation of sexual and reproductive health rights for young people. He holds an Honours Degree in Development Studies as well as a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Amsterdam on the PRINCE 2 Manual.
He is currently a Programme Officer at Students And Youth Working on Reproductive Health Action Team (SAYWHAT). Human Rights, Advocacy, Skills Development, Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Services and promoting responsible lifestyles among young people have been the central themes in his work. He has been/is a part of sub-national, national, regional and international platforms which focus on sexual and reproductive health rights for young people amongst which include Southern African Regional Students and Youth Conference on SRH, ICASA YouthFront, Condomize Campaign, UNAIDS 20by20 Private Sector Coalition, Reproductive Health Supplies Youth Discussion Group and several National Technical Support/Working Groups. Delight is passionate about promoting access to and claim of sexual reproductive health rights by young people across the globe.
