Priskila Arulpragasam is a 22 year old undergraduate in Social Work. She is a trainer on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights at Youth Advocacy Network Sri Lanka, and a member of the Youth Technical Advisory Committee of the Family Planning Association Sri Lanka. She is also a youth champion of the Asia Safe Abortion Partnership and attended the Youth Advocacy Institute of Asia Safe Abortion Partnership in 2015. Priskila is passionate about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and gender equality. Priskila has been a part of youth led initiatives such as launching a sign language glossary on SRHR terms, developing a terminology guide for SRHR terms in local languages and other trainings that advocates for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Sri Lanka. She has conducted trainings for young people trough Y PEER Sri Lanka, Child Fund and CARE International, and participated in the Y PEER Sri Lanka National training of Trainers 2014, Youth Advocacy Institute of Asia Safe Abortion Partnership 2015, Of By For Youth capacity building training by UNFPA and IPPF 2015, CSBR Sexuality Institute 2015. She works towards creating a better tomorrow for women, marginalized people and sexual minorities.
