Ingabire Prosper

Prosper grew up in the northern province of Rwanda. He is currently studying General Medicine studies at University of Rwanda. He currently holds an advanced level certificate in Mathematics Chemistry and Biology from High School and will graduate in July 2017 with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at University of Rwanda.


He has one year of working experience as Mathematics Teacher in Primary 6 in 2011 and also two occasions of two months temporal job in World Vision Rwanda during summer vacations in 2013 and 2014 where he worked in logistics.


He has five years of experience working with communities of rural and urban areas where he’s focused on improving life standard of underprivileged people in different subjects like disease prevention, income generation activities and rising awareness on sexual rights, reproductive health and family planning in different ages of population and mainly youth. He volunteered in students learn organizations like Rwanda Village concept project (RVCP) and Medical students Association of Rwanda (MEDSAR).


In 2013/2014 He served as Director of Malaria prevention program in RVCP and the following year as Director of Fund application team and showed a great contribution to the organization and the target population. Then in 2015 he contributed in preparation of curriculum preparation and teaching sessions on sexual and reproductive health rights in the project of Health people Rwanda.


He is also a Human right activist and has a certificate on human rights given by Service Allemande de development (Germany Development Program). He has a good academic performance and received a scholarship of ten best performing students in the School of Medicine and Pharmacy –University of Rwanda in 2014/2015 Academic year from the Korean Pharmaceutical Company called Chong Kun Dang. All the above details gave him excellent communication and team working skills in any place.
