Hamza H. Moghari
Hamza Moghari is a graduate from the Palestine College of Nursing and is currently working as a peer educator, advocate and trainer in the field of SRHR and leadership with the international youth peer education network (Y-PEER) and the Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association (PFPPA). In 2015, he became a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF); he is also enrolled as a young leader in the three years – Young Leaders Program with Women Deliver Organization. As a community advocate in Palestine, he has participated a youth serving programs including Future Generation – a one year leadership project, supported by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Ost- Jerusalem, and We Are Not Numbers – short story writing project, supported by the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor. Hamza attended the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP 2016), Indonesia, Bali as a youth delegate and he will be attending the 4th Women Deliver Global Conference – Copenhagen, Denmark May 16-19, 2016 as a scholarship recipient.
Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association (PFPPA) is highly active organization both as an advocate for improved sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and in the delivery of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services. These include family planning (FP) services (such as the provision of contraceptives of all sorts), counseling and guidance for women in psychological, legal and social matters, lab tests (for both men and women), maternal, antenatal and post-natal care, and infertility services, delivered through 8 service delivery points in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
