Josaphat Tjiho

Josaphat is a 26 years old arts and youth activist. He holds a Diploma in African Performing Arts (APA) from the College of the Arts Namibia. After graduating from the College of the Arts, him and his colleague founded an Arts Education for Development organization called ChiNamibia (which stands for Children of Namibia) in 2013.
He is currently a member of the SADC YOUTH NETWORK which is an organization that strives to represent youths in all SADC countries in higher decision making and to also engage with the government on different issues such as policy, health and youth development. Josaphat also played a role in initiating a new campaign entitled Here for Her to to empower school girls to still continue going to school despite their menstrual cycles. They provide school going girls with re-usable sanitary pads.


Josaphat is a Young Africa Leadership Initiative (YALI) Alumni as well as Peace Revolution AMANI 2 alumni. He is also a board of member at the WILDERNESS THERAPY NAMIBIA which is an organization that helps school going children with counseling and mentorship.
